In My Kitchen | Triple B

Lately, I have been having a minor obsession with puff pastry. I love finding different flavor combinations to stuff inside a little bite of flaky, buttery, goodness. Brie, Blueberries, and Balsamic sounded amazing so I thought I’d give it a go.

My Very Vague Steps (I was going for a rustic every puff is different vibe)!

Pre-heat your oven to 400 and grease a cast iron skillet.

Cut your puff pastry into whatever size squares you are feeling. I wanted to make little bites so my squares were about two inches on each side.

I first started with a little squeeze of my balsamic glaze, added my brie cheese, and topped it with two blueberries. Obviously if you are making bigger puffs go crazy!

Fold your corners towards the center, overlapping just a bit, and pinch together gently at the center.

Take an egg yolk, add a splash of water, whisk, and lightly brush the top of your your puffs. This will give them that golden brown color.

Place on your skillet and pop them into the oven. Mine I left in for about 10-15 minutes until they were golden on top.

Let those little guys cool and then tear it up! YUM YUM YUM. My boyfriend thought at first I was crazy for this flavor combo but boy did I prove him wrong? He could not stop eating them!

These are great for any occasion by especially perfect for a little Sunday brunch to impress your friends. They will have no clue how easy it actually was and they will absolutely be begging you for the recipe.
